2012 Wood Solutions Fair

Recognized as the premier event in Canada dedicated to design and construction with wood and wood products, the 2012 Wood Solutions Fair in Vancouver experienced a record attendance of more than 1,100 architects, engineers, building designers, contractors, construction technologists, specifiers, students and professors, and wood products exhibitors. 

The annual event, held last year on October 23 at the Vancouver Convention Centre, attracted respected national and international speakers sharing the latest innovations and trends in wood design and construction. Topics included "Adventures in Engineering", "Engineered Wood Products 101" and "Exemplary Model for Sustainability in Construction". Knowledgeable wood product suppliers were also on hand on the exhibit floor to share their expertise on wood and wood product information.

"The 2012 Wood Solutions Fair in Vancouver was just great – the best I've ever been to. Overall, selection of topics and the speakers' presentations were strong  – I would rate it as an "A"."
